Mrs. Brianna Wilks Valandingham is a proud member of the LCHS Class of 2015, who has recently graduated from Chamberlain University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her aspirations include earning a Master of Science in Nursing by the summer of 2026, followed by entering a specialization track to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. We are immensely proud of Brianna for achieving her Nursing degree and her commitment to pursuing further education! Congratulations, Brianna! We wish you the very best in your future studies!
Mr. Charles Allen Bentley, an alumnus of the LCHS Class of 2008, has successfully earned his Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the University of the Cumberlands. Currently, Mr. Bentley is a wonderful teacher at Louisa East Elementary School, where he positively impacts students' lives every day. Reminder that summer feeding through Lawrence County Schools continues tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17. Pick up times are from 10:30 AM through 12:30 PM. Drive-through pick ups are available at Lawrence County high school, Blaine elementary school, and Fallsburg elementary school. This is available at no cost for any children in Lawrence County through the age of 18. Each set of meals handed out contains 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches, plus milk and juice. There's no need to pre-register. Just get in line to pick up.

Hello Lawrence County families! Registration is now open for the Lil' Dawgs Youth Volleyball League dedicated to girls and boys attending Lawrence County schools between the ages of 7 to 13.
In person registration will be held at Lawrence County High School on June 13th and 20th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., as well as, June 15th, 16th, and 22nd from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $40 per child with discounts for additional children registering. The season begins July 29th through September 13th with practices on Wednesdays and games on Sundays.

Reminder that LC food service will be handing out a weeks worth of meals today from 10:30 until 12:30 at LCHS, BES, and FES. This is a drive up service, so food will be handed out rain or shine. This is available at no charge for any children under the age of 18.
