Good luck to our LCHS boys' and girls' soccer teams as they compete in the Section 8 2A Tournament hosted by Johnson Central. The boys will play against Pike Co. Blaine Elementary School will host Heritage Day, a celebration of Appalachian heritage, to educate our students, on Thursday, September 26th, from 9 AM to 2 PM! If you want to set up an educational station for the day, please call 606-652-3624.
LC educators participated in the Lawrence County Professional Learning Conference 5.0 in preparation for the new school year! The presenters included LC teachers, administrators, and guests from KVEC (KY Valley Educational Co-Op). There were various topics, including STeLLA, Number Sense, All Things Technology, and more! The conference was rated by attendees with high marks!
The LCHS construction class is selling a 10' x 12' shed as a fundraiser for the carpentry class. The proceeds will replenish the class building funds. Don't hesitate to contact Mr. Bradshaw at 606-424-7560 for more information on this quality building!
