LCHS Lady Bulldogs Crowned 58th District Softball Champions!
A huge congratulations to our LCHS softball team and coaches on their outstanding performance, winning 15-0 against Floyd Central!
- Special recognition goes to Talyor Blevins, who was awarded the title of 58th District Player of the Year!
- Hats off to Emalynn Kitts for hitting three home runs and celebrating her 100th career hit!
- We also commend our nine players who earned spots on the All-District team: Brinley Baisden, Lexie Crum, Aleaha Gillispie, Emalynn Kitts, Jada Patton, Millie Sammons, Ella Smith, Braley Triplett, and Addalyn Woods!

LCHS Senior, Taylor Blevins, shared on being awarded the 58th Player of the Year for the third time!
"Receiving District Player of the Year for the 3rd time is very special to me. It is so much more than a personal award and truly shows how hard our team works to make a "deposit" during the offseason. On the back of our shirts, you'll see the saying "No Deposit, No Return," and postseason is where you truly see that deposit pay off.
"Knowing I have a solid defense all around me, girls in the dugout who want it just as much as the 9 on the field, and coaches who believe in me with their all, allows me to go out there and do my thing with confidence.
"This award is much deeper than a personal achievement to me. It demonstrates my genuine commitment to this program, as well as my teammates' and everyone involved's dedication. I'm beyond grateful to be a part of something so special. This award is truly not possible without them!"
