LC Schools would like to express our gratitude to the faculty and staff for their hard work in preparing our schools for their students' first day back! The hallways, classrooms, and playgrounds were filled with smiling faces. As our students settle in throughout the district, we hope everyone has a successful school year filled with learning and growth!

Thank you to our Community Partner, the Lawrence County Fiscal Court, for donating $49,000 from the opioid settlement fund to LC Schools. This donation will continue our work of providing an anti-drug message and a positive lifestyle curriculum!

Congratulations to FES and Mrs. Moore-Frame, FES Library Media Specialist, who applied and received the Steele-Reese Foundation Grant for $30,000! The grant will be used for new reading material for the middle school grades and a Read A Latte Cafe!

Our Community Partner, the Lawrence County Health Department is offering walk-in immunizations to children and students in the community! This service provides walk-in options throughout the summer to prepare for the 2024-2025 school year!
