Fallsburg Elementary School held its annual Living Wax Museum! Ms. Copley and Ms. Marcum's first-grade classes were assigned historical persons of interest to research. Next, they created a poster with note cards, and presented their person in costume!

Attention! The KSA testing window is scheduled in LC Schools for Tue, April 30, 2024, through Fri, May 17, 2024. Please make sure that your student is in attendance each day, eats a healthy breakfast, and gets plenty of rest the night before testing!

The LC Middle School Gifted and Talented students from across the district traveled to the East KY Science Center in Prestonsburg, KY. By request of the students, this was their second year in a row to visit the center! It never disappoints!

Fallsburg Elementary will host its 2024-2025 preschool and kindergarten registration on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 9:00 AM- 1 PM. Please bring the following items listed on the flyer with you! Watch for online registration to open after April 22, 2024!
The LC Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 school schedule! The opening day for students is set for August 14th! The opening day for preschool students is set for August 21st! We hope this helps in planning for upcoming family vacations and events!

Congratulations LMS! Louisa Middle made a clean sweep of Week #3! LMS students won the Student Attendance Challenge! A big shout out to the 8th-graders, who led with the highest attendance for the week! The LMS staff won the Staff Attendance Challenge!

Fallsburg Elementary teacher, Mrs. Brojakowski, recently explored a unit on Appalachian music artists' perspectives on coal. The students were deeply immersed in the lessons and enjoyed analyzing local musicians' lyrics devoted to the topic of coal.
