The Lawrence County School District is very excited to announce that we will be receiving $9.28 million that will be used for renovations and additions to our career/technical
facilities. This funding was made possible through the 2021 General Assembly and can only be used for career/technical construction purposes (reference House Bill 556).
Earlier this summer, school districts were made aware that each district could apply for a maximum of 10 million dollars in grant funding for career/technical construction purposes only. Overall, the School Facilities Construction Commission awarded $75 million to schools across the Commonwealth.
