Monday, February 10, 2020, was a special day for staff and students at Louisa West Elementary School.     Students enjoyed bringing in examples of 100 items, such as buttons, cereal, and macaroni noodles.    Several students wore specially decorated shirts, and several dressed as though they were 100 years old.   Teachers prepared several fun activities for the enjoyment and academic achievement in the area of number sense for their students.

All students received a “100th Day!” sticker to wear.   Students were very enthused about this special day!    Many thanks to Mrs. Brandi Ash for decorating our front hallway, in order to increase the excitement for our students!    Thank you, also, to our parents who got in on the fun by dressing students for the day and sending in materials and snacks.
