LCHS is thrilled to announce the Apprenticeship Building America 2 (ABA2) Program! Mr. Sparks, our dedicated Career Support Specialist, is currently working with 27 LCHS students on apprenticeship placement within our community businesses. We are deeply grateful for the invaluable support of our community business partners, who play a crucial role in providing career exploration opportunities and enhancing our students' employability skills. Dr. Collins, an employment mentor, has already begun working with the first group of students, focusing on various aspects of career readiness. We are very excited about the many opportunities that await our LCHS seniors!

The LCHS basketball season is underway! Tonight, the girls' basketball team plays their first home game against Greenup County at 6 PM, and the LCHS boys' basketball team will take on Morgan County on Thursday, Dec 5th! Come on out to these home games and support our Bulldogs!

Congratulations to the LCHS Choir! Two members, Elijah Canterbury and Trae Mabry, were selected to participate in the 2025 KY All-State Choir! We appreciate the hard work of our students and that of Mrs. Annie Johnson, the LCHS choir teacher! This is an amazing achievement!

A BIG thank you goes out to all of our LC Schools Food Service teams, along with Kyla Farley, Food Service Director, and Brettia Hammond, Food Service Clerk, for their outstanding work on our Thanksgiving Dinner! The staff fed 117 adults, 1738 students, and 32 kitchen staff, for a total of 1887 people! We appreciate you and thank you for all you do, especially for our students!
