Lawrence County High School Aviation students attended Aviation/Aerospace Day at the Kentucky State Capital to help promote the importance of aviation and aerospace industry to Kentucky. These students explained to leaders across the state of Kentucky how Lawrence County High School is leading the way in Aerospace Education through providing Ground School to prepare students to become pilots. These future Aviators had the opportunity to meet with Aviation leaders across the state to discuss ideas to promote Aviation education. One of those future pilots was Joey Moore, a senior at Lawrence County High School. He has already passed the written exam and is scheduled to take his check ride soon. You might see him as your Captain on a commercial flight in the future because at Lawrence County High School dreams are taking flight.
