The Louisa Rotary Club came to The East recently and donated dictionaries to all 3rd graders. These books are terrific study tools for our students. So thankful for wonderful community partners like the Rotary Club. #EAST
The LC Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 school schedule! The opening day for students is set for August 14th! The opening day for preschool students is set for August 21st! We hope this helps in planning for upcoming family vacations and events!

Congratulations LMS! Louisa Middle made a clean sweep of Week #3! LMS students won the Student Attendance Challenge! A big shout out to the 8th-graders, who led with the highest attendance for the week! The LMS staff won the Staff Attendance Challenge!

Attention! The LC Foodservice would like to notify our families that there has been a menu change for lunch on Red Monday. The menu will now include chicken nuggets or corn dogs, mac and cheese, spinach salad with a choice of dressing, sliced cucumbers, and choice of a fruit and milk.

All LC Schools will be participating in a friendly, county-wide attendance contest beginning Monday, Feb 19th, which will run for the next 4 weeks! The contest will be based on the attendance percentage of each school. A "traveling trophy" will be presented each week to the winning school, along with bragging rights! Let's have fun with this! Today, February 15th is School Resource Officer (SRO) Appreciation Day! LC Schools is privileged to have Officer Musick as our SRO. We thank him for all of his service, support, and dedication to our students and schools!
