Louisa West January events are attached. Kindergarten and preschool students will need to return permission slips for Zoodles no later than Tuesday! First grade students will need to make sure they have their field trip permission slip turned in for Wednesday's trip to Camp Landing. They will not be here during the Zoodles assembly due to the field trip. We are ready for a great week!

Brag Tag program for our elementary students, grades Prek-5!
Elementary students will have the chance to earn Brag Tags for outstanding attendance! Any student who misses 1 day or fewer will receive a themed tag in recognition of their outstanding attendance! Students can earn all five tags and display them on their bookbags!

REMINDER- Our K/1 Christmas Programs and parties are tomorrow. Students will perform and parents/guardians will have the opportunity to make a craft after with students! Times are posted on the flyer.

Lawrence County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, December 17, 2025. Temperatures are expected to remain above freezing overnight and into tomorrow. Road conditions have greatly improved today and buses will run on clear routes. We look forward to seeing everyone.

Due to ongoing icy road conditions and low temperatures across the county, tomorrow (Tuesday 12/16/25) will be NTI Day 5 for Lawrence County Schools. Please contact your child's school if you have any questions. Students will also have extra time to complete their NTI work once we return in person. Stay safe and warm.




Update on our Christmas events at Louisa West! Don't forget- our Family Math Night is Wednesday 4-5:30. Santa Claus will be here for pictures and a special treat! The Grinch will also make an appearance at school on Thursday for Grinch Day!
