LCHS Athletics

The Bulldogs had an impressive fall season across multiple sports. The boys’ soccer team finished 9-9, advancing to the 15th Region Tournament before falling to Johnson Central. The girls’ soccer team also made a strong run, ending 10-8-1 and meeting the same fate against Johnson Central in regional play. Volleyball posted a 9-16 record, concluding their season in the 58th District Tournament against Floyd Central. The cheerleading squad continues to progress toward competitive success, while the football team is off to an outstanding 7-1 start with two games remaining. On the course, the boys’ golf team placed 3rd overall in the region, highlighted by Reece Hughes capturing the 12th Region Golf Championship. With winter sports on the horizon, the Bulldogs look to keep their momentum rolling into another successful stretch.
