census

Hello LAWRENCE COUNTY FAMILIES!

I am here to remind all of our Bulldog Community to respond to the 2020 Census.

Every person –

And that means EVERYONE – counted in the Census brings $2,200 to our

Community every year for the next TEN years. That means $22,000 to

for every student, every parent or guardian counted in your household’s

Census over this decade. That money funds our HOSPITALS, LIBRARIES,

ROADS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, our SCHOOLS.  As the federal government

sends funds for our community to heal and recover from the Covid-19

crisis, it will be based on our current population, which will be determined by

the number of people reported on the 2020 Census.

You can be counted by:

1. Go to www.2020Census.gov and hit RESPOND to start your family’s report

You will enter your Census report number that was sent to your house.

OR

 2. If you have a PO BOX and have not received your number yet, you can go to

The link that says, “I do not have my number yet” to respond there.

OR

3. You can call 1-844-330-2020.

OR

4. Return your family’s form if you received one in the mail.

It only takes a couple of minutes to respond and ALL RESPONSES are confidential. No one – NOT EVEN OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES – can access this information!

Remember – EVERY COMMUNITY COUNTS and that means

EVERY ONE OF YOU IN OUR BULLDOG FAMILY COUNTS!
