About Mrs. Delong

 Hi!  Welcome to West Louisa Elementary School !  I thought I would begin by telling you a little about myself on a personal level. 

I have worked in the Lawrence County Schools System my entire teaching career.  I began my teaching career at Fallsburg Elementary School for 9 years, transferred to Lawrence County High School as assistant principal for 5 years.  I attended Louisa High School/ Lawrence County High School the first graduating class in the new building.  I attended ACTC, Morehead State University, and University of Kentucky. 

I am married to Danny Delong, and we have three children.  Corey, Tierney, & Andy, two in laws, Rebecca & Chuck also five beautiful granddaughters Hannah, Addy, Kiersten, Reace, & Madison # 6 to arrive in Nov! We attend Louisa First Baptist Church.
