ACCELERATED READER/STAR DIAGNOSTIC READING TEST

 

 

POLICY STATEMENT

Students will be administered the STAR Reading Test.  Based on the Diagnostic Report and teacher/student conferences, goals will be set.  All LEES staff will utilize the AR program as a supplemental reading strategy during but not limited to Independent Reading time. 

STAR reading diagnostic will be given a minimum of 4 times per year at the beginning of the school year and within the first three weeks of each new nine weeks.  The SBDM Council members will review the reports.
